We have 10 years of experience in photo restoration and photo retouching.  Whereas  the goal of Restoration is to bring old distressed images back to the way they looked when they were taken: Photo retouching is the Art of making photos better than they were when they were taken.

We receive requests for retouching that span a wide range of  requests.  You may have taken a recent wedding photo but would like someone or something removed from the image.  We received an image just last week where someone had taken a picture of a beautiful car but there was so much reflection in the pain that it detracted from the image.  We were asked to reduce the reflection and make the image pop.

Before

This before image was shot on a cloudy day and looks a bit dull due to the lack of sunlight.  Surprisingly enough, there was enough light to cast glare all over the cars paint work. This detracted from the car and the customer wanted this problem corrected and the final result printed on Canvas as a gift for a friend.

After

We undertook a few procedures to get this image into shape.  The first was to painstakingly reduce the effect of the shine and glare over the body of the car. This was a balancing act because reducing he glare too much causes the paint to lack depth - too little and the eye focuses on the shine and not the car.  We also added some POP to the final image before we printed.  The customer was very happy with the result.
